For the USA we rely on the Swiss-U.S. Data Privacy Framework where the recipient is certified under it, and on standard contractual clauses otherwise.
5. Cookies, analytics and advertising
We use cookies and similar technologies. Some are technically necessary, for example to make the cart and checkout work.
Through Google Tag Manager we also use Google Analytics 4 and Google Ads conversion tracking (Google Ireland Limited, Ireland, and Google LLC, USA). This shows us how the website is used and which ads lead to orders. For this purpose Google receives usage data such as pages visited, device and browser information, approximate location and IP address, and may transfer it to the USA. How Google processes data is described at policies.google.com/privacy.
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, turn off personalised ads at adssettings.google.com and prevent Google Analytics with the browser add-on at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout. The shop remains usable.
6. Newsletter
You only receive the newsletter if you sign up for it, for example at checkout. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in every newsletter email or by emailing us.
7. Retention
We keep personal data for as long as the respective purpose requires. By law we must keep order and accounting records for ten years. We keep your newsletter subscription until you unsubscribe.
8. Data security
The website transmits your data in encrypted form (HTTPS). We protect our systems against loss, misuse and unauthorised access with technical and organisational measures. Please keep the sign-in details for your customer account confidential.
9. Your rights
You can at any time request information about the data we hold about you, have it corrected or deleted, request that it be handed over or transferred, and object to its processing, in particular for advertising. You can withdraw any consent you have given at any time with effect for the future. To do so, write to tapes@daumendreher.shop. We may ask you to prove your identity. Statutory retention obligations remain reserved.
